Free software for the ZKTeco K20 Pro time clock

Connect your ZKTeco K20 Pro to EzGYM and your employees' punches arrive on their own: who came, who was late, overtime and the monthly Excel, from your phone.

The ZKTeco K20 Pro identifies each employee by fingerprint, card and PIN and has the ADMS (cloud server) option: with it, it uploads every punch over the internet, with no computer left on and no Windows program. EzGYM is that server, for free.

You add your employees in EzGYM with their schedule and the number they punch with, and they are loaded onto the clock with their names. Each one enrolls on the clock as usual: fingerprints and faces stay on the device only.

From the punches, EzGYM builds each workday: late arrivals, early departures, overtime, absences and incomplete days, including split and night shifts. If someone forgets to punch, you correct it with a reason and who did it is recorded.

You can also enable instant WhatsApp alerts on your phone for late arrivals, missed punches, and unexcused absences, eliminating the need to leave a dedicated PC running ZKBio Time.

Compatible: the ZKTeco K20 Pro has ADMS («Cloud Server»), so it connects to EzGYM over the internet on its own.

You do not need to open ports on your router or have a fixed IP: the clock goes out to the internet on its own, like a phone.

Does your clock lack «Enable Domain Name» and only let you type numbers (an IP)? Write to us in the chat or to support: it can connect with our IP, but that IP may change, so we set it up with you.

How to set it up

  1. 1 Create your free EzGYM account. Go to Attendance › Clocks, type the serial number of the ZKTeco K20 Pro and tap Connect. The serial number is on the label on the back of the clock and in Menu › System Info › Device Info › Serial Number.
  2. 2 On the clock, open the menu: on keypad models press the M/OK (or MENU) key; on touchscreen models tap the menu icon. If it asks for an administrator fingerprint or password, the person who set it up has to enter it.
  3. 3 Connect it to the internet with the network cable from your router. Then go to Menu › COMM. › Ethernet and leave «DHCP» ON. If you use a fixed IP, make sure it has a «Gateway» and a «DNS»; if DNS is empty or 0.0.0.0, enter 8.8.8.8. Without DNS the clock cannot find ezgym.ddns.net.
  4. 4 Go back to Menu › COMM. and open «Cloud Server Setting» (on older firmware it is called «ADMS» or «WebServer»). If none of those options exists, read the box above: your unit has no ADMS.
  5. 5 Turn on «Enable Domain Name». Only then, in «Server Address», type ezgym.ddns.net exactly: no http://, no https://, no slashes or spaces. If your clock has no domain name option and only lets you type numbers, read the box above.
  6. 6 In «Server Port» type 8081. If there is an «HTTPS» switch, leave it off. «Enable Proxy Server»: off. With port 8081 the ZKTeco K20 Pro always works; without HTTPS port 80 works too.
  7. 7 Save (OK or the save icon), go back to the main screen and restart the clock (turn it off and on). In about a minute, in EzGYM › Attendance › Clocks, the clock shows «Connected»; many models also show a cloud icon on screen. The punches stored on the clock are uploaded automatically.
  8. 8 In Attendance › Employees, add your employees with the same number they have on the clock and their schedule.
  9. 9 Still not «Connected» after 5 minutes? Check the serial number matches, that ezgym.ddns.net is spelled right and that the clock has internet and DNS (8.8.8.8). If it still does not connect, write to us with a photo of the server screen and the network screen.
