Free OCPP 1.6J server for your electric vehicle chargers
Point your Wallbox charger (Feyree, Besen, Huawei, ABB, WEG or Wallbox Pulsar) to our OCPP server, authorize charging via RFID cards or your phone, and track kWh usage per member, client or delivery van. Free in EzGYM.
Ready-to-use OCPP 1.6J server
Stop paying $20 to $45/month per plug or maintaining your own SteVe server. Paste the URL into your Wallbox and it comes online in seconds.
RFID card control & active member check
Prevent unauthorized charging: the charger validates RFID cards against active gym members or authorized drivers in your company.
Live kWh, power & cost tracking
See live kW output, vehicle battery percentage (SoC), and total kWh and cost for every charging session.
Remote start & stop from your phone
No RFID card on hand? Start or stop charging remotely with one tap from the front desk or your phone (RemoteStart / RemoteStop).
Electric delivery fleet management
In EzGYM you can link each charging session to your electric vans (BYD, Kangoo E-Tech, Maxus) to know exactly how many kWh each vehicle used at the depot.
Works with Chinese & European chargers
We support both secure WebSockets (wss:// on port 443) and plain WebSockets (ws:// on port 9000) for budget AliExpress Wallboxes without SSL support.
How to connect your charger
- 1 Create your free account in EzGYM.
- 2 Go to EV Chargers and add your Wallbox with its power rating and price per kWh.
- 3 Copy the OCPP URL from the app and paste it into the charger’s network / OCPP 1.6J settings.
- 4 Monitor live charging sessions, kWh usage, and start or stop the charger from your phone.

Frequently asked questions
Is this really a free OCPP server?
Yes. The OCPP 1.6J central server, RFID card control, remote start/stop and kWh session history are free in EzGYM, for up to 20 chargers per account.
Which EV chargers are supported?
Any charger supporting OCPP 1.6J (WebSocket JSON): Feyree, Besen, Zencar, Wallbox Pulsar Plus and Commander 2, Huawei FusionCharge, ABB Terra AC, WEG WEMOB, Intelbras, Schneider EVlink, Circutor and Orbis Viaris, among others.
How do I stop strangers from plugging in and stealing electricity?
Turn on “Require RFID card or authorization” on the charger in EzGYM. The charger stays locked and only delivers power when an up-to-date member or authorized employee taps their card, or when you start it from the app.
Can I use it for a gym, sports club or customer parking lot?
Yes: it is ideal for offering “Charge your car while you work out”. If a member has an overdue invoice, the OCPP server blocks the card automatically; if they are up to date, it starts charging and logs the kWh consumed.
Does it work for electric delivery fleets?
Yes. Every time a driver plugs a delivery van in at the warehouse, it records who charged, which vehicle, how many kWh were delivered and the cost in your currency.
What is the difference between the wss:// and ws:// URLs?
Modern chargers (Huawei, ABB, Wallbox, WEG) use encrypted wss:// on port 443. Many affordable AliExpress chargers (like some Feyree or Besen models) do not support SSL on their WiFi chip: for those we also provide the plain ws:// URL on port 9000.
Do I need to open ports on my router?
No. The charger connects outbound over WiFi, Ethernet or 4G SIM directly to our OCPP server.
