Free OCPP 1.6J server for the WEG WEMOB Parking charger

Point your WEG WEMOB Parking (7.4 / 22 kW) to our OCPP 1.6J server to control who charges, measure kWh per session, and start or stop charging from your phone. Free with EzGYM.

The WEG WEMOB Parking (7.4 / 22 kW) includes network connectivity with the standard OCPP 1.6J protocol (JSON over WebSockets). Using OCPP, the charger talks to a central server to validate RFID cards, report live kW power and log the kWh of every session. EzGYM is that central server, for free.

If you run a gym, sports club or customer parking lot, you can require RFID authorization so the WEG WEMOB Parking stays locked to strangers: when a member taps their card, EzGYM checks if their membership is up to date and starts charging while they work out.

If you operate a distribution company or delivery fleet with electric vans, you can link the WEG WEMOB Parking to your vehicles to track exactly how many kWh each driver charged at the depot and the cost of every session.

From the web dashboard or your phone you can also trigger RemoteStart / RemoteStop and unlock the connector with a single tap, without paying monthly per-plug fees.

How to set it up

  1. 1 Create your free EzGYM account and go to EV Chargers.
  2. 2 Add your WEG WEMOB Parking with its rated power (7.4 / 22 kW) and choose whether to require RFID or set a kWh tariff.
  3. 3 Copy the unique OCPP URL given by the app (wss://ocpp.ezgym.net/ev…).
  4. 4 If the charger asks separately for the “Charge Point Identity”, “ChargeBox ID” or “Identity”, enter the ev… identifier there (the end of the URL) and leave just wss://ocpp.ezgym.net/ in the URL.
  5. 5 Open WiFi WEG-EVSE-… › OCPP Config › OCPP Server URL + Charge Box ID on the WEG WEMOB Parking, paste the OCPP URL and reboot the charger: within seconds it shows Available in EzGYM.

On the WEMOB, join the “WEG-EVSE-…” Wi-Fi and open the configuration page. Under OCPP Config, enter wss://ocpp.ezgym.net/ in “OCPP Server URL” and the ev… identifier in “Charge Box ID”. For EzGYM to validate RFID cards, set charge authorization to “Authorized by OCPP Server”.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect the WEG WEMOB Parking to EzGYM?

Add the charger under EV Chargers in EzGYM and copy the unique OCPP URL shown in the app (wss://ocpp.ezgym.net/ev…). Then paste it into WiFi WEG-EVSE-… › OCPP Config › OCPP Server URL + Charge Box ID on the charger.

Does the WEG WEMOB Parking use wss:// or ws://?

Yes. Enable “Require RFID card” on the charger settings in EzGYM and the WEG WEMOB Parking will verify every card in real time before delivering power.

How much does the OCPP server cost in EzGYM?

Nothing. The OCPP 1.6J server, RFID card validation, remote commands and kWh session history are free in EzGYM (up to 20 chargers per account).
